I bought a new phone at the beginning of October and at that time there was an offer for airpods/buds for £1.00. I was told I would receive an email within 30 days about this, but heard nothing. Can anyone offer any support, or utilised the deal themselves? Thanks.

O2 aren't thieves as this is a manufacturer's offer.
O2 are administratively inept.

It is an o2 offer, not a Samsung Offer, as the promoter is o2 and and not Samsung UK, so it is a solely o2 mess..
A lot of people get the codes remember and we only hear about those who dont...
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

I stand corrected. 💡
I wonder how many purchasers get, don't get, use and don't use the codes.
I believe that buying from the manufacturer, so the gift arrives with your handset, is more straightforward. 🔜

So if it's not a Samsung offer, how come Samsung send them out with devices bought directly from them?
It is a Samsung offer which is promoted and administered by O2 (and the other networks) and O2 will recoup the cost from Samsung for each of the codes redeemed.
