Cortana & Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1

Hi Everyone,

I've heard that WP 8.1 Update 1 is rolling out to the Lumia 930 devices at the moment, anyone know when other handsets will get the update? Is O2 involved in this update like they were with 8.1 itself?

I have the 1520 and can't wait to upgrade!

Some kind of time frame would be nice...

I think Nokia/Microsoft said the update would be released in the 4th quarter so it could be anytime between oct-Dec but this does depend on your network provider

This does feel as though the older phones are being left to encourage punters to get the newer phone that has Cortana already on-board. Bit of a shame really if that's the case.

Any chance of an update for other devices e.g. Lumia 920, 925, 1520 etc. It's all very well updating for the 930 but there are plenty of other users out there that use different phones. Older phone users don't seem to be being tacken serriously. One of the many reasons I have stayed with O2 for 10+ years is the usually high standard of customer support. This expected high standard is not being met with the lack of support relating to new features being pushed out to all phones that can support them, not just new ones.
