Since late afternoon, every text I have tried to send has failed - it looks as if it has gone, but two minutes later the message 'Can't send message, Try again' appears. Is there anything very simple I can do? I have never opened my phone, have never removed a SIM card, so don't want to start dismantling my phone. Thanks.

Thanks. I spoke to a neighbour who is also on 02 and can't send texts. He told me that work is being done on a mast nearby. When I checked the 02 Status thing, I read ' ...this can cause intermittent service for calls, texts and data'. I will try my phone once the status thing suggests the problem has been fixed.

A simple off/on may help but ideally you need to take out the sim and re seat it.
