Solved: Error Code: 80048888 When Trying To Connect To Hot...

I recently upgraded my O2 mobile to a Nokia Lumia 625 and having set t up I am having problems accessing both my Hotmail and Live email accounts although accessing my Yahoo email account is not a problem.

The error message I am getting when trying to access Hotmail and Live email accounts is:

‘There is a problem with the certificate for dub-m.hotmail.com Contact a support person or your service provider’

Last tried ?? minutes ago.

Error Code: 80048888

This problem seems to be a connectivity, synchronising or compatibility problem between O2 and Microsoft’s latest Explorer system. Can anyone advise me a step by step solution to rectify this problem.

Try going into settings and do a manual sync.
It's a certificate error, so if this doesn't work delete the account and re apply it.
