What's happened to 02 :(

Been with 02 for around 8 years, in that time I've seen the best tariffs disappear, god knows how many updates to the website; to the point where each time I have to spend more and more time trying to find the things I need, broken my mobile yesterday and logged in today to a text delivery company to let them know I was home for an xmas delivery "all part of the service you know" anyway, seems that 02 no longer allow the 10 free texts, which honestly is a bit tight when you consider how much I've put in.

To boot the site has changed again, now I can't even find the email address and am only given options to either live chat, which does nothing to resolve my issue or FAQ's and a forum, it seems that 02 like many others now cannot be bothered to reply to emails so much so its nion impossible to locate the email address, now excuse me if I'm wrong but email is still widely used, I'm not sending a telegram here, just a bloody email. Anyway was kind of the final straw on the host of issues I've had over the last 12 months, so been out and bought a Voda simcard today, disappointed with 02 it's gone right down hill, I always loved the simplicity of 02 which was a huge contributory factor for me choosing them as my carrier, but alas its all complicated now, beyond me! I feel like I'm no longer the target market, must be all these kids with Chavberry phones I guess.

I read your answer, I said I could not ring them, otherwise I would. I'm not asking for answer I've sorted the issue now anyway.

Lots of full stops there, and I was listening, perhaps you are not, I had no means to phone them other than my mobile, hence I turned to the web which was the next most obvious choice, had I had a landline, I would have just rang the courier... < look full stops, like your condescending full stops. I appreciated your answer the first time, thank you! it just never provided me the answer of an email address!

Whoa. You said nothing about not having a landline and your remedy was to buy a Voda sim (not a phone) - so your lies don't add up !!!!
Anyway I COULD CARE LESS, so whatever and have some more full stops..............................................

PS. Merry Christmas Hug

For corporate websites email is slowly becoming a thing of the past in favour of webforms such as that quite rightly suggested by MI5.

Key reasons why include o2 removing the threat of inbound viruses, easier to ensure the customer provides enough information for o2 to investigate the issue and to ensure the information provided by the customer is that that is needed, not pages of waffle.

The contact us link is easy enough to find, just use the search icon on the top right. Then you can effectively email o2 although of course it won't go via your own email client, rather o2's client.

As Perksie has said, standard email is not secure.
As MI5 said, Webform or chat both available online or call customer services. You could have phoned after your delivery had arrived.

Failing that after your delivery had arrived you could have gone in to store.

Of course, had you gone to online chat, they may have been able to help or guided you to the best process.

I can tell you that Vodafone work in the same way so I hope you don't end up with the same issues there as you will hit the same problem. I also hope you have a good signal.

Every company offers a range of ways to contact, o2 are better than most. It is not realistic for o2 to offer every type of contact method in the world. You wanted email, you had email in the format of a webform.

Having left Vodafone due to major customer service and signal issues I wish you well.

Here's a simple way, on the home page use search, top right, just put in "email" then click search, this takes you to the results page, click 3rd one down, this takes you to a new page and a box with the email link, just click on it and there you are.
