Was in ASDA today & found out that you don’t need a quid / token to release the trolleys from each other.
How long has that been happening? Can you tell I’m a sad lonely single basket user....

Our government and our opposition are a lying, money-grabbing bunch of swindlers.
Stop the country, I want to get off.

😳
There's an interesting development on that front, as explained in this BBC News article, particularly the case for revoking article 50, which the ECJ are currently considering. I'm not sure that we should go down that road though, and if we're to have any faith in British politics, then the result of the referendum needs to be delivered first. And I say that as someone who voted to remain

Yep, I knew that too, when I still lived in New York! And for those who don't know who the hell Archibald Leach is: he was Carey Grant.
Now, how many are asking Carey who........

I'm of an age when you knew who Archibald Leach, Maurice Mickelwhite, Norma-Jean Baker and Leonard Sly were. Many a pub quiz favourites!
I also knew Cary Grant was British though he always came across as an American putting on a British accent to me.

Funny you should say that about Cary Grant @jonsie because I thought the same. Which I also thought was hilarious as he was British. Personally I think he was trying to sound more American but not succeeding, unfortuately which resulted in what they call a mid-Atlantic accent; not one thing or the other, neither British nor American..... Having said that I was, in fact still am, a fan.
And, again, for those who aren't 'of an age': Maurice Mickelwhite is Michael Caine, Norma-Jean Baker was Marilyn Monroe and Leonard Sly (a Native American) was Roy Rogers.
