Hello @gmarkj
I think there is some confusion.
The Farmers and Land owners have the right to shoot vermin including foxes causing trouble.
Hunting for a sport or pleasure and setting a pack of hounds on the fox is a completely
different issue, this is what I object to.
Apologies for the confusion.
I agree with both parts - the "humane" shooting of trouble causing vermin (not just foxes, but other species as well) is both legal and sensible so long as it is as humane as possible.
The "sport" of hunting (with or without dogs) is not and should never be seen as acceptable.

Sorry to hear that the Tories are singing from that "Old hymn sheet" again.
Disgraceful and unnecessary @TallTrees
We need a good clear-out of the House of Commons so
I wondering hummm maybe get them to out-run the pack of hounds

Seriously, what a complete wally. He said it, he was quoted saying it, so how can he now retract what he said.
Honestly, some politicians, most in fact, should smile at the camera and keep their mouths shut!!
