Hey guys,
Exciting times for any film buffs out there as the nominations for the 2017 BAFTA awards have been announced today!
BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) is an independent charity dedicated to supporting and promoting film and TV programing. Each year they run an awards ceremony to celebrate the best achievements in film and TV across a series of categories. I've highlighted a few of the main categories and nominees below.

I love watching movies but to be honest I have no interest in baftas or Oscar ceremonies where it's all thank you to somebody who made it all possible, thank you mum and dad, the producer, the director, the film crew and the drama teacher at school.....
I have the same problem with the music awards though you do at least have performances by decent artists in between the nausea...But maybe that's just me!!

Not sure about the films as I am not interested in La La Land and I expect that will win it. I am very pleased to see Jungle Book made it into Special Effects category. I watched that two weeks ago and it is pretty stunning.
(So is the trailer I saw for Fantastic Beasts and where to find them)
