difficulty in inputting my pass code as the upward and downward pointing arrows almost completely obliterate the number i am trying to type in. i think you have a problem here....

Inputting the code into what? And what way / app are you using?

If you are referring to the MyO2 app, try deleting it, reboot phone and reinstall it.

Or, if the advice above fails to improve matters:
On an Android phone, @passcodecockup - try rotating the handset screen through 90 degrees from Landscape to Portrait, or vice versa, view - the display should follow, if you have set Auto-Rotate to "On" in the handset's settings. This might give you a bit more space to type in the OTP. Good luck!
