My phone keeps using all it's data at the moment it's going through 25GB a week, but I don;t know what on.

Is there a way of checking to see whats using it all?

Thanks

Gareth

What make and model? But both Android and iPhones allow you to look at data consumption by app

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Gareth21

To be using that much data, something must be streaming or downloading constantly.

Start by closing all open apps and have wifii turned on and connected where possible.

To check data usage on an Android device, you can do the following:
  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap Network & internet
  3. Tap Internet
  4. Tap the Settings icon next to your carrier's name
  5. Your total data usage will be displayed at the top of the screen
  6. To see how much data each app uses, tap App data usage
  7. To select a time period, tap the down arrow
How to check your iPhone's data usage
  1. Open Settings
  2. Select Cellular or Mobile Data
  3. Scroll down to see which apps are using data

Have you tried closing the app after each use rather than just swiping it off the screen @Gareth21 ?

So to check whats using the data, on an iPhone you can reset the Data usage Staatistics, then keep an eye it each day to see whats happening. I had WiFi assist on, which uses mobile data when the wifi is poor, so thinking I was under wifi in my house I was actually on 5g. Thanks for the help guys!

Yes, a good idea to check daily whilst trying to track down any issues.
