I made a payment early for my airtime bill but it’s still saying it due this month when surely it shouldn’t be due til next month now

It depends when you paid.

A payment needs to be made at least 6 days before your DD date to ensure it clears through the system and not call for the DD from your bank.

If you do pay twice it will sit as a credit and the money will be taken to pay next month's bill.
