Upgrade Issues - Has Live Chat Gone?

Trying to arrange an upgrade, tried the O2 app, and O2 web page on desktop PC, both attempts at the upgrade get stuck after the 'Insurance and more' section, Accessories part is unselectable, and no selectable options under trade in your old device (Which I don't want to do any, but there's no option).  The go to basket option is greyed out, and none of the other sections present any errors.

 

I've tried clicking on ask virtual assistant, but it just directs me to this community forum page.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255 or go in store.

Thanks, at work in online meetings so was hoping to sort this out in parallel using live chat as this was how I have done all my upgrades previously.

 

Have O2 not taken away the live chat feature?  Or is it now just served on another platform?

Appears, when available, at the bottom of the sakes pages if you hover around.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Shop link just brings me to the same contact us pages, and virtual assistant link takes me to community forum.

 

So only options to upgrade are call them, select from numerous numbered options and then wait in a long line, or go into a store where they wont honor online prices.

 

O2 making it very difficult for me to give them more money!  Might have to start looking elsewhere!
