hi, I have bought a new mobile and contract on affordable mobiles but stayed on 02. Do I need to cancel my current 02 contract or will it switch over as it is still an 02 contract? I want to keep the same number. Thank you

My last upgrade through Affordable Mobiles went very smoothly - contract setup, number transfer and all appeared as expected in MyO2.
Reach out to O2 in Social Media, links below this post, or call 202 to get O2 to confirm - MyO2 can take a couple of days to catch up.
If you bought a new phone outright from AM, then you may need to do SIM Swap to get your number moved from old phone to new, deactivating your old SIM in the process, info here: Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update and near the end of this Guide: Migration & porting into O2 .
