Scam text messages?

I've now twice received a text message purporting to be from O2 saying they couldn't process my bill and I need to go online to enter my bank details.  The link looks legit, but I get the text message a full week *before* my bill is due.  I'm pretty sure it's a scam to get my banking details.

It comes from +44 7542 387846,  and directs you to

https://o2-billing.web.app

Anyone else getting these?

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text or number to 7726 - It's free.
Other ways to report here including Action Fraud website

If you leave O2 and port your number then the texts may well follow you.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@MatthewBubb If you long press on the name does it not give you the option to block?

Block a phone number or contact on your Galaxy phone (samsung.com)

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@MatthewBubb

Unlikely that you will be able to block it as there is no number to block.
