Ending contract to move abroad

Hi, I’m emigrating but still have £400 left of my contract to pay off. I won’t be able to use my o2 sim in Australia. I have too much left on my contact to afford paying it off: is there any way around this? Is it possible to pay off the rest of my contract but trade in my phone at the same time to alleviate the cost? Or is there no option but to just pay off my contract before I go? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
thanks

You will need to pay off your handset in full and cancel your airtime plan

You could then try to sell the phone or take it with you.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@nmcel018

You are able to use your phone in Australia and if you have travel inclusive, it will be free to do so.

You may find it useful to keep your O2 sim working for a short while anyway to make sure you haven't missed anything that uses your O2 number back in the UK.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
