I signed in and went through the process of changing my security question and answer tonight. When I pressed submit the page went to an error page telling me they were unable to perform the request. I tried again but the same thing happened. I received two texts alerting me that I had recently changed my security question and answer. So my question is, have I managed to change it or not, also has anyone else encountered this glitch?

Yes, I’ve seen the same glitch when using chrome browser but not on opera.
I’ve stopped using chrome for some things now due to compatibility issues.
If you’ve had the texts to say it’s been changed though I’d say there was a good chance it has but to confirm you could speak to customer service in the morning from 8.00am http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It's quite possible you have changed it. Best to check in the morning again because the systems go down around this time of night for updates. You have probably changed it because it does throw up errors even though the change has gone through.

That's good news @Guevara. It had obviously reset properly but needed a bit of time to kick in (possibly due to the time you changed it) wink

Excellent, I thought it would have gone through with receiving the text messages. The poor hamster that keeps the O2 system up and runnine takes a nap around midnight.....😉😂
