I lost service about 4pm and after switching off 3 or four times I checked the 02 website to see if any notices about faults. When I didnt see anything obviously there, I contacted my sister who lives just a mile away and her o2 service is working. I therfore put it down to a faulty phone. It was only on delving deeper into the o2 site that I found these discussions and find that many other people are having the same problem all round the country. Why oh why have o2 not put something prominent on their website to save all the wasted time and give us some idea how long the problem is going to last??????? EJ Accrington Lancs

Call centre closes at 9pm, on a day like this, useless, It say's a lot about O2's customer service, It seems they only care about my money, well my money talks and it will be talking to another network

No compensation then for inconvenience just if WE contact THEM we will get a refund - surely this should be automatic as they must know who is affected and who isnt! So they make more money with people calling to obtain a refund?? How many of us would hold for 30 mins+ for a days refund??

This is not acceptable... After RBS now O2 is down, whats going on.... We should be paid compensation.

Still no service in Blackburn, I'm giving up on it for the evening otherwise I will be too stressed to sleep! Fingers crossed a miracle may happen overnight....................
