Have you checked here Http://status.o2.co.uk ?
I assume the handset works in other areas?
What things have you done to fault find the issue?

Tested both indoor and outdoors (incoming/outgoing calls and SMS, voicemail and accessing the net). Where I used to have full bars and H+. Now I'm lucky to get 2 bars and it fluctuates between G and H.
Voice quality has dropped and data is hit and miss at best.
I've called o2 a number of times but they state there's nothing wrong with their hardware and it's my handset that's faulty.
erm, it's the same handset I got for my upgrade from this very site that used to work without issue.

I've tested my current SIM and with a new SIM (ordered from o2 customer services over the phone ) in my phone, a friends unlocked phone and another friends o2 locked phone.
All with the same result I'm affraid. I'm in North East Leeds, West Yorkshire if anyone else is sharing the same ongoing issues.

No offence but you haven't read anything I've posted previously in this thread have you?
I'ce checked the status page (and continue to do so) and reported it to o2 numerous times. It fell on deaf ears after the third SIM I'd ordered off them so I just assumed they'd gotten rid of my local mast with no warning.

Mast Still Down - nothing else to report, there is no point in swapping sim cards! If there is no signal, there is no signal! It's on the web address that O2 gave me - to check your area, type in your postcode, and it will come up with an answer! Mine is as follows :
Sorry we're currently investigating reports that a phone mast in this area isn't working.
