Help, it would appear that someone took out a new tariff on my account yesterday. I contacted O2 through 'live chat' as soon as I received a text confirming the order and they assured me it would be cancelled straight away. Later in he evening I phoned O2 just to confirm it had been cancelled and was told yes, not to worry and the fraud team would be in touch. All good so far!

This morning I have been billed for the new tariff and it has appeared as my new account. Does anyone know if this is usual please???

I guess they have better things to do, but it sure beats me as to why they don't seem to follow up on it.....?

I'm guessing they are ordering expensive iPhones and New S4's etc which are in excess of £500 each.

If I went to my local 'Primark' and took near close to £500 worth of clothes plod would be there in an instant to put me 'before the beak'

It kinda makes this kinda scam worth doing really doesn't it?!!

Many of these phones are delivered to empty housing and the delivery intercepted. The scammers are then long gone.
