Webmail woes

This for an O2 webmail address (xxxxx@o2.co.uk)
Until yesterday I was able to access my email account, both through a POP3 server and through the O2 webmail interface. I even get a HTTP 404 error when accessing webmail, yet I can still get to my online address book!!
Yesterday I started getting bounced emails of the "Delivery Status Notification" which is probably a result of a spammer using my email address as a return address.
I seem to be stuck with no number to phone, nor anyone at "Chat" who is of any assistance, apart from the ubiquitous "Restart your system" type of help!!
Any ideas?

on the contactus page it should change to live chat if an advisor is available instead of email us try that

I've done that as well, and I got:
Guru : Ronan: Please restart the system and try again once
Mike: How do I "restart" your webnmail system?
Guru : Ronan: I mean computer.
Guru : Ronan: Because this will establish Internet connection once again.
Mike: It is your webmail that is down, not my PC. I have tried through Firefox and through Internet Explorer. How will a restart help?
Mike: My router is the item establishing an internet connection
Guru : Ronan: - press the Reset button on the back of your router and hold the button in
Guru : Ronan: - the Power light on the box will go red and it will turn orange after few seconds
Guru : Ronan: - then you can let go of the button and the lights on the box will begin to flash
Guru : Ronan: - after a few seconds, the Broadband light will turn green.
Mike: Can you explain why this will solve an O2 problem, apart from breaking our chat so you don't have to chat with me again?
If I could chat to someone who has some noddle, or is empowered to pass the issue on I might have more confidence with "chat"!!
And:
Guru : Ronan: I agree that the chat will be disconnected but if you still face same problem, then you can again come on chat or call the team on 0800 230 0202 free from the landline.
Mike: Ok - will do, but given what I have said I can't see how resetting the router will help
Well I tried 0800 230 0202 but they could find my account details so basically told me they couldn't help.
I appreciate your help but I don't feel any closer to the "owner" or person responsible for webmail and the POP3 server. Hence my series of posts here until the problem is fixed.

so you have an o2 mobile / broadband account and o2 cannot find your webmail account very strange.
even in the webmail help once logged in it gives that number you were given to ring for issues.

Another day and webmail still doesn't work. 12 days and counting!! 😞
