Struggling to cancel Sim

I am struggling to cancel a SIM card that I’m paying monthly for and need some help.

I had a sim as part of the virgin media package that I took out over 2 years ago but I never used it. I cannot cancel it as I don’t know the phone number related to it so I cannot pass the security question when I called customer service.

I have the sim number and account number but cannot use this to cancel apparently.

I tried putting the sim in my phone and text number to 2020 but it wouldn’t send.

Any help would be appreciated.

PAC out to a different payg network and then bin the payg sim once the number has transferred.

It’s a pay monthly sim so I’m not sure that I can PAC out. In any case, I’ll need the phone number which I can’t get.

The sim will still be active so just make a call from it to another phone and see what number comes up.

And yes, you can PAC out if no other methods of cancellation work for you.
