I'm on pay as you go, had a scam text today and they took £4.69 from my balance. I've contacted 02 they said it was from" shared shortcake for oxygen 8 "they have blocked the no from where it came from. They have given me a tel to call 03333137900 to try and get the money returned. Has anyone else experienced this?

According to Google that is the number for the company you mention....However I would report them here
http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/for-consumers/contact-us-for-consumers
Also have a read of this help thread...http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Are-you-fed-up-with-spam-calls-and-texts-Follow-...
Edited to add....I was just a bit late....

Facebook is by far the worst source of scams. Merely clicking on a link can inadvertently sign you up to an expensive subscription.
