@Cleoriff I've heard back on the cancellation question and @madasaf1sh has summed it up very nicely. There is a right to cancel on certain tariffs and for those on Refresh the device would need to be paid off.
The advice for anyone who want's more info on their right to cancel in this circumstance is to contact customer services.
