I am having problems with O2 signal on my iphone. I live in an area which usually gives a strong 5 bar signal, but it appears to have failed. I have had no signal for over 6 hours. Has anyone else had this experience?

There is a connection problem again. Service went down about 4pm today Monday 22nd - the same time as it went down on Friday. Is anyone else having problems?

I had the same problem, phoned them up and they changed some setting at there end, been fine since.......

What area are you in poolietim? I am on North Wales coast.

I phoned O2 customer services last night and they said they will try to fix it, but said it could take 5 days 😞

Hi, I am on the North Wales coast too - service has been very patchy - one bar GPRS at best, then SOS calls most of the time. Have o2 given any reason? I was about to trundle down to Carphone Warehouse when I saw your post...

I called at Carphone Warehouse this morning and they told me that the O2 signal in the Colwyn Bay area is down. There is a problem with the transmitter mast. Hopefully it will be repaired before long.

I called at Carphone Warehouse this morning, to enquire about the cost of a cheap PAYG phone on Vodafone but they told me the O2 network in the Colwyn Bay area is down. They said it is a problem with the transmitter mast, so hopefully it will be repaired before too long, but apparently it could be a few days !

Ah, problem with the transmitter mast. At least we know what the problem is now!

I live in Old Colwyn and it's bad enough I can't get 3G until I reach Colwyn Bay!

Yesterday I lost the o2 signal for much of the evening and the same has been true today. Occasionally it's got one bar, but when I tried a phonecall it crackled and eventually failed. I notice that some friends, also in the Colwyn Bay area, have reported the same problems for the same length of time.

Think you might find that the original problems were fixed 6 months ago as that is how old this thread is.
