Even after 8.00am message - 2G is not fixed.

Hi all, Just to confirm, contrary to O2's 8.00am status update that 2G has returned this is not correct. I have no signal return. I have rebooted phone, turned off 3G and rebooted but no luck. The phone still can't register to the network. Just in case O2 thought it was back working for everyone. I have an HTC Desire S.

Hi Steve,

Not ignoring, just referring to an update that seems to be helpful for many people.

Fair enough, not ignoring, but not listening. He says you refer to a blog which is clearly incorrect. My wife's phone still has no service and is only a 2G phone! It's now 10:46

I'm really sorry to hear that and I can understand it's quite frustrating. It does seem to work for most people though.

Sorry, but I don't have any other info than the info in the thread I linked to though.

the one saying wife got a 2g handset, turn off the phone, than turn it back on, and than do a network search and choose o2. that is what wife had to do on her samsung 2g handset when (unlike yest) it went off this morning.
