Dreadful Signal

Anonymous
Not applicable
In my home postcode o2 state "good indoor and outdoor" 2g coverage. I get intermittent service.

Today I spent half the day in Dunster in Somerset. Absolutely no signal at all. When I get home I looked at the coverage checker and it reads " good indoor and outdoor" 2g coverage.

This is now happening more and more often. So what is the problem? Why are o2 not sorting out the basics?

Across the social network I see thousands of posts criticising o2 but rarely see anything re Vodafone, Three or EE. Clearly this is an o2 issue.

Thoughts on a postage strap please

Good morning and Thank You Adamtemp64

I did try turning off the data signal and it didn't help.
And it does seem a lot of faffing about, turning it on here and off there. I think it (TuGo) is good in concept but needs a lot more work.

I have been having huge problems with my signal since 4g went live. I get no signal at home and have to wander around outside to try and get 1 bar to make a call. always had good signal b4. have tried new sim, got my phone checked by o2 guru, updated software, turned off 4g on the phone and been sat on hold to customer services for what seems like my whole life trying to get this sorted. Months later and o2 tecnical support are trying to tell me as its winter and the leaves are falling off the trees this my be the cause of my bad signal. Iv never heard such a pile of rubbish in my whole life. I have now had ENOUGH when I wasnt able to get a call from my daughters school telling me she had had an accident and I needed to get to the school asap...IM FUMING!!!!  How do I go about getting my contract cancled?

Firstly call 202 and ask them to release you FOC explaining the reasons why. Be aware you can cancel at any time but a fee is expected which CS will tell you what it is, but I am assuming you don't want to pay....?

As is your right, but first you must raise it with O2 Complaints if you don't get anywhere with CS.

All the details on the link.......

Then after 8 weeks, if no resolution, you can contact the Ombudsman to look into it on your behalf......
