Can someone please tell me how I can make a complaint? I cannot find how to do this at all and it's really irritating!

Don't bother complaining to O2, they will do sweet fanny adams!!!

I have now made a complaint to ofcom as this company is a shambles. The worst of it is, that all of their support staff appear to care and want to help but the management are stopping them. I was lied to on the upgrade ie that I would be put on the TU GO program (last September 2012) then every few weeks I was told the same. Even reached the stage where they told me I was going to be on the next day. Well that never happened!!! When I said I was going elsewhere they said I would have to pay a redemption fee although it was a part of the terms of me upgrading with them. I have all of the calls recorded.

If anyone wants to join me in taking legal action against O2 then please contact me

The TuGo program still isn't available to everyone. It's still in the trial phase, so I don't really know what it is you think you're complaining about. It's not an upgrade. It's an app. If you have a contract with O2 you can't just leave. You have to give 30 day's notice and if you have any months remaining on your contract, you would have to pay them off. It's in the Terms and Conditions, so I don't see what legal action you could be thinking of taking.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Your complaint is a non-starter. There was only ever going to be a set number of trialists and some members of the community had their names put forward for testing, myself included. Not everyone was selected but you can hardly bring a complaint to Ofcom about a beta trial.

I doubt that you have as they don't take individual complaints, and what you're complaining about isn't covered by them anyway.

I doubt you will take legal action either as you will be told it would not succeed.

I am truly staggered.

You clearly didnot read what I wrote.

O2 LIED to get me to sign up for an upgrade that negates ANY contract as they have failed to fulfil their side of the contract. They didnot lie once but on numerous occasions which are all backed up on recordings by O2 and by me. If you know contract law then you would know that a contract acts for both parties. If one side fails then the contract is null and void.

I fully understand that the TU GO was a BETA but when it was used as a lure to get me to stay with them and then subsequently the service was not provided then that terminates the contract. You would not expect to buy a car where you were promised an experimental engine within 2 weeks and yet after many promises of delivery (over 5 months) told you were not going to get it. THAT is a broken contract!!!

I hope you guys can read this. Specsavers are offering cheap glasses, maybe this is your problem! I am sure someone could read the comments to you if you are unable to read

I can understand what your saying but tu go is not included in a contract. Recordings are great if they prove that you were guaranteed tu go and that was the only reason you agreed to continue.

Even at this point I think it would be a struggle but I honestly wish you the best of luck.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

If you told O2 you wanted to cancel due to signalling issues, and they explained TuGo to you and stated for a fact it will be released in 2 weeks and that is obviously the only reason you chose to carry on with your contract - then yeah, perhaps a well detailed letter to the Customer Resolution Team can take this into consideration and consider cancelling your contract.

However, if the above is not the case then there isn't really much you can do as you chose to take out the contract and commit to it.

You are wrong on both counts.

The only terms that apply are the ones linked to at the bottom of this page, no staff member has the power to change this, as it states if you read them.

Tu Go when available will be for all O2 customers not just you on some special deal.

It will not be part of any contract offered.

You might have been told it was coming but I doubt any contract fulfilling promise was made.

When you go to court let us know the date.

Pretty sure Tu Go is considered a "Value Added Service", and unfortunately under O2's (and all networks) T&C's, they can do what they want with it.
