Error message: could not activate cellular data network - please help

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a micro Sim.  Sold it and got an iphone 3 so obtained a sim adaptor as the iphone required the standard SIM.

When I use wifi at home, I can access the internet and update my email.

When I turn off wifi at home or am away from home, I cannot access the internet or update my email.

I get the following message:

Could not activate cellular data network

You are not subscribed to a cellular data service.

Please can someone help.

Thanks

As you have transferred from a Samsung make sure your APN Settings are set to mobile.o2.co.uk
