Changes to Switch Up provider are a mess

Ever since O2 changed their provider from Ingram Micro to Likewize since the 17th October, it's been one hell of a mess.

Traded in my Galaxy Z Fold7, which was received by then and had confirmation on 6th November. Tried chasing up with Likewize (no reply) and the O2 store, who have been very helpful. The RHD they phoned haven't been much help either.

It's been 3 weeks since they've acknowledged receiving my old device, and then nothing. Account not credited, old contract not closed so now I'm paying for two phones.

Safe to say official complaints have gone in, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

@ryanodonnell

This is why we tell everyone to do switch up's in store, as the accounts are cleared down instantly..

Best thing to do is log a complaint via https://o2.co.uk/how-to-complain a warning though it doesnt take upto 8 weeks for them to reply.

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

@madasaf1sh Unfortunately I couldn't do it in store as the device I wanted wasn't in stock.

I wish there was a way that if you did the switch up online, you could just take your old device to the store and then it can be cleared instantly.

I have filed a complaint already, just a waiting game as you say!
