out of interest @Anonymous what feature are you looking forward to the most?
First of all the whole idea/design of it sucked me in. But other than that the health and fitness is a very big deal to me as I really would like to monitor that and also the fact I can see quick little things without having to actually have my phone in hand because I'm working and away from my phone 9.5 hrs a day so thats nice too

Motorola and LG have developed their smartphones which won't be compatible (AFAIK) with other manufacturers handset. So you can rule out any propriety arguments for a start.
I think in a sense, adding a watch will only add more accesories to the already glut on the market. Currently I have 2 watches, one for general wear and another for more dressed events. Whilst I like the idea that a watch can tell everything that your mobile can in a more compact format. It does beg the question with all this broadband architecture being promoted by the government, followed up about people complaining that their details get shared all over social media sites, people being watched by GHCQ and then asked to pay what data is held about them; in a way are people are being manipulated by the media/goverment?
Time is just constant of events from the moment they happen to the moment they are realised. I really think I'm going sit this whole smart watch thing out.
