So i rang them after waiting 0ver 5 mins someone finally answered to say "sorry it went to the wrong depot it will be with you tomorrow", because of pass dealing's with these so called delivery companies i rang again this morning to double check after a lot of umming and ahhing he said "yes its in nottingham you will get it today" im not holding my breath as the site shows it was supposed to be delivered before 12!.

Uk, Yodel, HDN all seem as bad as each other! not one can be relied upon.....would'nt mind but im being charge for this contract by O2 but not even had the goods yet!......ok rant over Smiley Frustrated

Standard excuse when they can't be bothered to deliver or have too much to deliver, I'm afraid....

O2 chased UK Mail and then called back to confirm that the delivery is set for a "guaranteed before 12" slot tomorrow (we shall see). They also voluntarily gave me £10 off my next bill for the phone costs I incurred in calling UK Mail.

O2 - pretty good
UK Mail - very bad

After spending nearly an hour trying to actually speak with someone yesterday to upgrade (on hold for 10-15 minutes 3 times, each time getting cut off) I finally placed my order.  I had to pay upfront (rather than it being added onto my next bill) as the handset was over £200.

Received a message to say delivery would be today between 11.30-15.30pm.  By 17.00m rang o2 who called UK Mail and I was informed was out for delivery and would defintiely be today.

By 19.00pm rang UK Mail myself to be told phone was back at depot and would be out for delivery again tomorrow!

Not good enough O2. Completely wasted my day, sitting in waiting for a delivery which didn't arrive.  Don't tell me at 5pm it's still coming unless you have kicked arse at UK Mail and told them in no uncertain terms to deliver today.  In fact, just don't give me a specific delivery day if you are going to use a rubbish courier firm that have difficulty in fulfilling your orders!

By the way, there was no snow, no unforseen circumstances which hindered the delivery.  Courier just finished at 18.30pm and did not have time!

Unfortunatly its out of O2s hands. Uk mail are the ones giving a times and O2 can only quote those to you. Annoying I know:(

Side note: when using the 24 hour clock you don't need to write pm on it slight_smile
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

it's not out of o2's hands, they have chosen Uk Mail to represent them.  If Uk Mail are unreliable, o2 need to take responsibility until the order, for which I've paid upfront for, is with me.  It's just this whole 'not my problem anymore' attitude that I can't stand.

I thought it was just me....ordered my first pay monthly phone from 02 at the weekend also. Asked for delvery on Wednesday as someone would be at home all day....no delivery and a text after UK Mail's customer service was shut saying it would arrive Thursday between 1030 and 1430.

Guess what?!  That's right! No delivery!

The order tracking has said 'Out for Delivery' ALL DAY however around 2000 tonight it's 'updated' as delayed....as of 1400hrs!!!

With the next 'promise' of delivery being Friday (same    time)....I'm not holding my breath.....

I have to say I'm not that impressed with my 02 experience so far especially as I'm paying for something I haven't even got yet.

We've always had a really nice, reliable Royal Mail postman!  I've had a lot more stuff go 'missing' that was being delivered by private courier companies, Hermes - I'm talking about you!!!

@Jonsie

I agree every time I sell an old phone on ebay it goes Royal mail Special delivery and it always gets there on time and safe.

But the cost to o2 is higher than the bulk discount price they get from any of the courier companies
