When I go to My O2 and selct my device to be able to check my account there is a section headed Device Plan and it contains a link Make a Payment, which I assume is to facilitate a monthly payment or indeed to pay off the outstanding balance owing in respect of a mobile phone purchased from O2. However, this link is dead as a Dodo on my IE 11. When I allow the mouse pointer to hover over the link no information shows in the status bar, whereas if I hover it over the adjacent link Device Plan Details I can see the details of the URL associated with that link which does open a new tab.
What is so difficult about creating workable links that O2 seem unable to present them and keep them up to date? (and please do NOT tell me to use a different browser - that is not an adequate or an acceptable answer. )

Well that is worrying with Firefox. Fortunately...fingers, toes and everything else crossed...I have had no such problems...
Now.... where is the wood to touch

It's strange, I've used Firefox for years with no problems. I stay away from the beta versions but it's been fine for me through all the updates.

I can believe that - but you KNOW what you are doing. A little knowledge is a dangerous weapon - and I was well armed as they say. But I learned 2 very valuable lessons in the process - don't take anything that appears on a screen, be it text, alphanumeric or graphics at face value. And never, ever click the OK button until you can say with certainty you understand what is going to happen next!
Have a great weekend @jonsie
