Hello,
I have a mobile broadband package and noticed that my upload speed images from 0.8 to 7Mbps. I get a notification that my connection is unstable, my image freezes and there is a delay in the video image when on calls. My download speed is between 85-135Mbps which is great and clearly this is not a problem. Can you please advise how to change settings to get a better, and more stable, upload speed please?
Best wishes,
Elina

Depends on several factors, @ElinaG - how good your signal is Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? as well as the number of people in your area using the same mast, known as subscription. An oversubscribed mast, with an uplink off a 4G connection, could cause that. Try using the O2 My Network app https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network , and register for an account and set it up to watch places you visit regularly, so O2 are kept updated on such poor performance. Also try these tips if you are seeing low throughput in just one place: Guide: Do you have poor coverage / signal Indoors? This may help Explain / resolve it - an older, but no less valuable, reference, @ElinaG.

Oddly enough, if you live in range of an oversubscribed area of London, this article (scroll down to the relevant section of the link) gives the best place for 5G speeds - deep down in the tunnels of the Elizabeth line 🙂↕️

Good luck fixing your throughput - you may find switching to another mobile network with more or better coverage will provide a slight reprieve, until everyone else does likewise.

@ElinaG

What VC software are you using?

Also what operating system aren you using and what other applications are running in the background?
What else is using the Mobile Data connection??

Just be aware a lot of Mobile Data connection are latency heavy, so VC software struggles with Video as well as audio..

For better upload speeds then you really need to use fixed line BB
What are your round trip time to the likes of teams.microsoft.com??
