Hi,
Dual sims (physical) worked fine for years on my old xperia v
So new o2 esim, a local physical sim, and a new Xperia V (mk3) android 14, i find if i am internationally roaming i can not make or receive calls unless o2 is selected for data.
As i travel in places where its full international cost to roam that totally destroys the point of 2 sims for me.
Moment you select the local sim for data, o2 drops to a indicator of no signal and exclamation mark. Select o2 again and it goes back to 4g with R and signal strength.
Happened in saudi and ghana,so its not a local problem or som issue. Do not think its android.
I am utterly convinced it is an o2 backend change of not offering "old fashioned calling" and routing calls over data only when roaming, but provider telling me that o2 saying "no fault".
Anyone have any idea. TBH so many problems with o2 this year, its last straw.

Try turning off 4g calling in the phone settings, but that will only work in countries that still have 3g, else you will need to route calls over 2g.
