Hi all! I own a very small plumbing company and a few of my customers have mentioned that when they call my mobile number (Which I've had for years now and is important for repeat work) They have seen a different company come up on caller ID when I try to call them, thus causing confusion. Please help me change my outgoing caller ID to avoid me losing work! 😂
Thank you!
Robin.

If it only happens to Android phones I think it might be incorrect info on the lookup tables that Google incorporate into their smart dialler software.

The database is maintained by a company called Hiya.

After a bit of digging, I've found that you can raise a support ticket here:

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

The only way I can think that would cause this is if your number was wrong in:

Settings >Phone >My Number

Hi Robin

Is this when you call their landlines or mobiles?

Do you know exactly what their phones are showing when you call them?

Yes its showing an old company ID that was my friends before I took the number 10
years ago. I stuck with the number now I kind of regret it because of this confusion. Its like "asda" appearing on your phone when I ring you or call you back

Do these customers all have Samsung phones by any chance?
