Please let me know, do I need keep o2 sim card while requesting unlocking?

No, it's nothing to do with your SIM card. It uses the IMEI number to unlock.

Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
