Tempered glass vs Screen protector

What is the difference between tempered glass and a screen protector for iPhone 6?

Which is better? I don't want it to interfer with the touch screen part of the phone.

The main difference will be the price. Glass is probably preferable. Most screen protectors won't interfere with the sensitivity of the screen. If there's an Apple approved one, you should use that. Barring that, you should Google the ones you're interested in and look for reviews.

I'm currently using one that came free with my cheap case that I got from Amazon, works a treat

I was told that the tempered glass is thicker and so it interferes with the touch screen and makes it not work as well.......

Tempered glass shields DO NOT interfere witht the screens at all!  They are stupidly thin and are there to protect th screen of the phone!

I guess its donw to personal choice - a tempered glass shield will obviously last longer and be more hard wearing than your standard 'flimsy' style ones!

There's also no airgap so screen sensitivity is unaffected.
