My husgand recently got a new Sony Xperia on the Virgin £16 a month deal. Now I can't text him, and nor can a friend of mine who is also on O2. everyone else can text him; he can text me; I can phone him, and he can phone me. But I can't text him. Why not? It is doing my head in.

Hi,
First speak to o2 Customer Services on 202 to ensure your account is ok.
Try checking your service status to see if the masts are ok.
Also remove your sim and give it a clean.
Check your APN settings as this affects mms messaging.

Ask him to check that he has not accidentally blocked you in his phones settings {handset / firmware applicable}, although if you can phone him it shouldnt be this.

Have you tried deleting him from your phone contacts and then sending him a stand alone text? There is no block facility on your husband's Xperia is there?
