Disappearing e mails

My iPad picks up my hotmail account emails with no problem .... However it often deletes some of them for no reason ! I don't keep many, just ones which need replying to or keeping for a while just a handful, and I empty the trash can regularly, so why does it just keep deleting my mails ... Some are from companies I have ordered goods from and need to keep until I receive goods, but they just disappear

Yep, they all appear to be on ..... Don't worry about it. You have gone out of your way to help..... things seem fine at the moment and if not I can always use Safari and then MSN where all my mail is ...

you are very kind to help me and others on here ... mail has been OK since I deleted then installed ! But think phone is acting against me ... I used to be able to move apps on iphone from one page to the next, but they don't do it now ? If it annoys me enough I will pop a question in the correct thread ... many thanks

My phone does that sometimes.  Try rebooting it and it should work.
