Hi, changed to a Samsung S6 on Friday, today i received a voicemail notification, I cannot retrieve it! Dialling 1 at first was giving a call forwarding message, i disabled call forward in settings now it just hangs up! Checked voicemail number is 1 in settings. Can anyone help please?
Sorry i posted this before reading much further down the page where I found an answer to my problem!

Dial 901 for voicemail.
For future reference, go to call settings and scroll down to voicemail. Set to 901.

I think you need to go to your keypad and press 1 to retrieve voicemail on the S6
A guide here http://devicehelp.optus.com.au/web/samsung-galaxy-s6/calls-and-contacts/voicemail/calling-my-voicema...

Hi, some pointers to explain what has happened here.
1 - Your voicemail was already set up (it is always by default).
2 - With voicemail active you will always hear a call forwarding message.
3 Pressing the #1 key is a shortcut to dialling 901, which as you now know is the default vm number.
4 - When you cancelled call forwarding you would also have cancelled vm (hence the reason you had to enable it again).
5 - If pressing #1 doesn't auto dial 901, go into the phones dialler app and choose the settings menu. Scroll down to voicemail settings and change the stored number (if any) to 901 and press "done" to save it.
Hopefully this will explain things for you and help anyone else searching for a similar problem.
