I'll ignore the cheap shot and just add that if it don't work, you can change it so that it does

Try changing the outgoing server to smtp.o2.co.uk port 25 with SSL unticked.

Just change the outgoing smtp to smtp.o2.co.uk and outgoing auth should be on.
or use
Outgoing mail server | smtp.talktalk.net | |
Outgoing Port | 587 | |
Outgoing SSL | Yes | |
Outgoing Authentication | Yes |

Hi, thanks, this worked BUT I was given a 'Key Algorithm' - RSA, Key length 2048. Asked to click a box saying 'Key will never expire' and to set a password which I need to use each time I send an email. But thanks I can now send!
It was the answer to use port 25 and o2 with no security that worked, I didn't then try the other one, but thanks to all who took an interest!
