Hi there @Anonymous

Some things to try here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-Pay-and-Go/How-can-I-sort-out-my-network-issues/ba-p/1014088
Has the phone been yours since new?

Take your back cover off or remove the sim slot & see if there is one inside. Did you have one supplied with the phone when you got it?

The sim will still be there unless you've removed it.
It may be faulty though so try an o2 shop to get a sim swap.
