galaxy note update to jelly bean note available

Hi guys. I had my note around 16 months before recently losing it and having it replaced through o2 insurance. My old note had been updated to jelly bean but this one has stopped on ics, stating no updates available. I know there is an update out there as i have already updated my last note so where has it gone? Does anyone have a reason why this can happen? Its the same phone, still on o2, yet one updated about 3 months ago and this one cant find the update????? Confused!!

Are you trying to do the update via OWA or Kies?

Have a read through this excellent post HOW-TO-A-Guide-to-using-Odin which will walk you through downloading the latest firmware from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares and installing it. Make sure you get the o2 firmware (if there is one) to keep any customisations.
