My Galaxy S7 thinks that it is up to date. But I have Android 8.00, and I can't seem to update to a more recent version. How do I do it?

Android 8 is the last official Samsung update for that phone. There are some unofficial third party updates you can flash if you know what you are doing.

However, the phone is no longer supported for both Android updates and security patches
