Has anyone noticed that the WiFi symbol has disappeared from the status bar at the top of the screen since upgrading to android pie? I have a Samsung galaxy s8 and i have to swipe the bar down to check whether I'm connected to WiFi or my data.

Mine disappears if my battery is at 100% as there isn't enough room to display everything but it shows after 99% ok.

Thanks for your reply, mine has disappeared completely and I cannot find any settings to turn it back on. Have you upgraded to android pie?

No, I have an unlocked Note 8 but haven't upgraded to Pie yet.

Yes I'm on pie. You shouldn't get a 4g symbol though if connected to WiFi ?
