Hi i was wondering if anyone else was having problems sending text messages?

Then it's possibly your O2 account that has a problem.

You could ask O2 to reset your account to see if that works.

Give them a bell on the numbers I've already supplied earlier in the thread.

Also check that you have not accidentally blocked the number your trying to send a text to or the person your texting hasn't blocked you.

A few people have reported problems yesterday.

 

Check your local masts here : http://status.o2.co.uk/

 

Clean the simcard and reboot the phone.

 

Check the message centre number in the message settings :

 

Pay Monthly   +447802000332
Pay & Go       +447802092035

Try Your sim in an alternative phone to see if normal texts send ok.

If your trying to send mms texts then you need data enabled on your phone or you may need to phone customers services to have your account checked.

O2 Customer Services. 202 for Contract >4445 for PAYG

Yes as long as the other phone is unlocked or already on O2
