Samsung S7 Mystery Issue

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a mystery issue with Screen surrounding Home Button on Samsung S7. No other problems/bleeding with Main Screen. Phone hasn't been dropped - or been wet. Any one had a similar issue? I have O2 Insure - wondering if to replace entire Screen etc.

@Anonymousis the phone still under warranty? 2 years from tha date of purchase. If so you might be better to get in touch with Samsung http://www.samsung.com/uk/info/contactus/

It just might be cheaper than going through O2 Insure (depending on excess etc)

No idea what the issue is from your picture, sorry, but if it's insured and you are happy to pay the excess, you could claim, but I'd ask Samsung for an opinion first.

Strange, isn't it? When pressed, the grey are turns black... and then back again when released pressure!  Thanks.

Delamination by the sounds of it so should be covered by warranty OK.

Samsung are currently refusing to be moved on this. They have stated there is damage to the LCD which has resulted in paint coming loose - difficult when it hasn't been dropped, or in water, and in a hard leather case for the past year. Having looked in to this further - there are other clear cases of delamination that Samsung have fixed! FUMING. Am now complaining and taking further.

I now have a clearer photograph of the issue, too. IMG_9996_1.jpg
