But.lets not get into personal statements..
We all know this was a major F.U. not as bad as the.outage last week and definitely not a reason for.getting into personal comments
I hope rather than MORE complaining the next update should be from the mods or someone with something proper to share such as news of actually doing a software update.
Until then let's enjoy our weekend and hope for a happy Monday

Samsung Galaxy S3

Quite agree macblank, it was a f.u. and no need for comments to get quite so heated. Anyone can give their viewpoint, after all that's the whole idea of a forum.

Grow up.
O2 thought they had the update ready, released an update time and date and then discovered a problem. This is the first time i've seen o2 anounce an update.
Maybe they should just keep their mouths shut and make it a SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anderson you say grow up but then repeat my point?
Please elaborate o wise one

I work for a large software company which is owned by an even larger well known media company. When we have an issue with an update we keep everyone in the company up to date and let our customers know. This stops frustrated phone calls coming are way and shows a level of customer care.
O2 don't care about their customers, they don't care that they over promised and under delivered. They don't care that you waited and wasted time for an update.
For those that say it's just an update need to realise this isn't about "just an update" I its about the lack of customer service and care that O2 have displayed by saying "**bleep** you guys we are going home we will sort it out Monday". When they should of said..."There is an issue with our update scheduled for today. Our engineers are working hard to resolve this issue but as of now we have cancelled the update until further notice. We will release a new date as soon as we are confident the service is working 100%"
Now wouldn't that of been nice if O2 did that?
