Samsung Galaxy S3 simple ringtone needed

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have just upgraded to the S3 from S2.  Can anyone say how to get a "simple" ring tone on the S3.  Only options seem to be for music, and special effects.  There must be a way of getting the old ring tones off the S2 and on to the S3?  Or somewhere that has old fashioned rings?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for this clarification.

I have also found this page

http://www.beepzoid.com/old-phones/

that allows you to download each file.  So you can download, scan, and then set as ring tone (as per the good description in another thread).

Thanks again.

Thanks, that was just the sort of sound I wanted!

Pity they are encapsulated into an App and the owner demands the right to poke about in my phone.

The contact access is required so you can assign different ringtones to different contacts and the internet access is, of course, for the required advertisements and to download additional tones through the app. It's not intrusive or else I wouldn't have linked to it.

Thanks Tipster.

I do not get "Android" option when select a ringtone.  Just a long list of music, etc. which was why I posted the original question.

I have now found a site that allows the download of indivilual files.

Thanks again.
