Not receiving texts from EE users

Since I have had my sim swapped onto a newer contract, I've not been able to receive texts from people on EE. I can receive calls from them. I can receive texts from O2 users, possibly other networks, but definitely not EE. One of the EE users has checked on their end and there isn't anything they can see or that EE can see is wrong and they are receiving my texts fine. Any ideas?

I followed the steps you gave.
Deleting my account and messages in the TUGO app didnt make the texts come through. I then went on to o2 chat and got them to delete my account where they told me their was already a note on my account asking them to delete the TUGO account at 11.30am today. Im guessing people are fixing the issue in the background.

Half an hour later a few text messages popped up on my phone from my EE friends. Out of the 3 EE friends, one I can receive and send texts to and the other two can receive my texts but Im not getting theirs.

 

UPDATE --- since posting all the older texts from over the weekend have started coming through slowly.

I'm having no issues with TuGo but iots definitely the cause of the problem especially for people upgrading or changing tariff. I'm guessing there will be an update pushed out very soon.

Hopefully we will get an app update soon so we can go back to using it.
It still amazes me that the customers are the Guinea pigs for the updates!
